More than just an instrument
Throughout history, the piano has been the go-to for composers and performers alike because of its versatility and ability to reproduce almost anything. Even today it continues to be a vital part of any musician’s skillset.
Through their lessons, students will develop their motor skills, aural skills, and their overall understanding of music. Through every small step, they will build confidence as they learn to play, improvise and perform.
A very valuable (but often underestimated) skill that students are taught, is learning how to manage practice to achieve results efficiently. They learn how to prepare for a performance and present their progress at our winter and summer recitals.
